On December 6, 2019, youth activists and their allies went on #ClimateStrike, for the 68th week in a row since Greta started hers last year. In downtown San Francisco, Youth vs Apocalypse and Sunrise Movement Bay Area led a rally at the offices of BlackRock, the world’s largest investor in fossil fuels, and then marched to Sen. Feinstein‘s office, calling for investment in a Green New Deal that ensures a just transition to [at least] a livable future, with good green jobs for all. Anna (as a Sunrise Bay Area member) and Felix joined the demonstration and produced this short video. We resonated with the stories of young people being affected by the climate crisis, along with their vision for the equitable, regenerative world we can and must achieve.
